Hi Scott - welcome to Method!
Method does not have a feature to send automated emails in that respect. However, we do have some automated 'system' emails that are sent out to serve as activity/task reminders or alerts if the Method user opts in to get these reminders or SMS alerts.
Keep in mind you can certainly use Method CRM to send ...

Hi Anita - welcome!
If this customer/file number field is truly related to customers you'll want to add a field to the customer table in order to hold this data. You can dot his from Customize>>>Tables / Fields and locate the Customer table.
Once that's done, this field will be available on the New Leads screen and the New ...

Shane,
What table are you trying to import into? In my Method account I went to Customize>>>Tables / Fields and looked into the Customer table - the table you should be importing into. EntityType is not listed as a required field the user has to specify because it is automatically taken care of for you.

emiller,
You defiantly don't want to delete the customer table since this table syncs with QB. In-fact you probably won't' be able to even if you wanted to. You are more concerned with the customer records in the table not the actual table itself.

hycari,

Thanks for the tip Mark.

Depending on the Method table involved this could be easy, difficult … or not possible at all. If the table is Method only data (a table that does not sync with QB) ...

Hi Shane,
I'm going to ask you read an earlier post that might help you when importing leads (click here). Give that a read and let me know if you have more questions.
Cheers.

Hi Shane,
Are you sure you are aren't using the update feature on the Import / Export tool to try and 'update' rather than import new leads? The message indicates you're trying to update.
In step 2 of the import process where you prepare the data, you will see a check box 'Update existing records by matching the key ...

Hi Dave - I have moved this post to the API forums. A member of our team should respond here. Thanks.

cmogletree,
Make sure that the grids filter view is set to a view that indicates its actually using those dates. One example is 'My occurrences in date rage' and another is 'Shared occurrences in date range'.
Basically the grid respects the filter applied to the grid and/or filter views. Maybe nothing is changing because ...
