Hi Stephen
We've been doing this successfully for the last couple of years.
We simply generate a report and then use a signature app (sign my iPad or the like) to capture the signature. The signed doc can be emailed back into Method and the client.
I think a signature app might be 4.99.
That being said maybe one day Method could ...

I want to create a category dropdown and a subcategory dropdown.
When I select a category, the subcategory should change.
The category dropdown should draw from a new table which has two fields Category and SubCategory.
The Subcategory dropdown should draw it's data from the same table but of course using the Category selection as a ...

Thanks Greg, I missed that the first time -- that's a useful solution in the meantime.

Hello Method Users!
Thank you for taking the time to read a new iteration of our weekly Method Blog posts. I’m fairly new to the Method blog, but as a member of the Community Support Team, you may have had the pleasure of speaking with me already ;)

mmcgrath - I am not sure it would be possible to use a linked field in the Customer Table for the Contacts Title, this would likely cause some issues (what if you have many Contacts tied to one Customer). Have you considered adding a custom field to your Customer Table, call it "Job Title"? Just note, with this method if you ...

Thanks Ben,
That's what I assumed. Is there a way to link the Title field so that it will show up on the New Lead Screen? Or is this not possible.
Thanks

Hey krp,
Sorry for the delayed response -- yes, you are right, RecordID fields are typically the ones that are linked. I might be misunderstanding your question, but most of the tables you mentioned (i.e "Customer") are views on the Entity table, so if you make a change on the entity table it'll automatically update on those ...

Hi mmcgrath,
You actually aren't going to see the Title field on the New Lead screen because this screen is based off the Customer table. The Title field is linked to the actual Lead Contact, not the Lead Customer. To help explain this further, from Method edit an existing Lead, then scroll to the bottom of the ...
