We have a web app running which connects through the MethodAPI, retrieves data, disconnects, processes the data, then repeats. I am using PHP, XML and cURL.
Now I am working on another web app to simply retrieve a list of tables using MethodAPITableListV2. I get a failure response: "Failure. The API could not ...

Hi wildlife,
The reason your invoice template can't send through the activity screen is because the fields in the invoice don't correspond to the activity screen's mail merge fields. You can learn more about the mail merge here. The only fields you can plug in to the template are fields that are accessible in that screen -- in a ...

Hi v.cameron,
For a discussion of supportsadd/seupports edit I'm gonna point you to an older foum post. http://method.me/cs/forums/t/3622.aspx
Contacts do not exist in Quickbooks. Customers as you know are entities and do exist in QB. They are related via the entityref field of the contacts table. A customer can have many ...

Hi Adam,
Thanks for your response. That's exactly what I did. I read through the help center and forums to see if there was a way to import the vcf file directly. Hi Scott,
If you import the contact into your Outlook program, you can then add the contact to Method through the plug-in. Unfortunately, there's no way to the .vcf file directly to Method. You'll first need to add the contact to Outlook, then add them to Method.
Hope this helps,

Hi Lance,
Sorry for the late reply. This is a known issue with the progress bar. I recommend only importing 500 records at a time, as the progress bar and the import tool work best around that number. In the future, if you can limit the import to 500 or less, you should see it run much smoother.

Thanks, Naeem!
So there are 4 custom Yes/No fields on Entity, the IsSMS* fields. IsSMSPhone, IsSMSAltPhone, IsSMSMobile and the composite, IsSMSAny.
Maybe I should just campaign for a new Action..."Logical OR", which takes a list of fields as input, and adjusts a target field with the result on any update to those fields.
Is there an ...

Hi Ken,
I've been tinkering with this on my end. The easiest approach I've had is to generate a SQL override for the Composite Flag field that takes the table with the isSMS field and use a SQL command to filter all the results that actually have SMS recorded inside it (maybe use NOT NULL?). The only other approach I can think of is ...
