Hi pdx971,
Customers and Leads are essentially the same thing, except that Leads do not sync with QuickBooks. Customers and Leads are both stored in the same table, the Customer table. There is a Yes/No field within the Customer table called IsLeadStatusOnly. This is the field that determines whether the record is a Customer or a ...

Hi beltechs,
In Method, check to see if you have any conflicts which need to be resolved. Make sure you're in the CRM or QuickBooks tab group and go to QuickBooks -> Resolve Conflicts. The list should show any sync conflicts i.e. Invoices not syncing with QuickBooks, and give a description as to why this conflict occurred. Let me know ...

Hi John,
Sorry for the late reply. This must have got lost in the crowd.
Contact is not a subset of Entity. The Contacts table is a Method only table. It has linked fields from the Entity table, but they are separate fields. The Contacts table hold all of your contacts and does not sync to QuickBooks.
Hope this helps,

Hi Jack,
There are lots of places to send an email through Method, but if you are contacting customers, the activity screen is the place you probably want to be. So you're in the right spot.
When you say you've changed the default in the From Name field, do you mean in the Send Email action? If so, I think what you're seeing is ...

Your Right Networks username will be used to access the Right Networks server and nothing else. You can use the Method logins to access the appropriate ...

Hello Charles,
Method does not store any credit card numbers. You can enter a credit card number in the Method fields and it will be passed into Quickbooks with the sync. If you enter the credit card number in Quickbooks, the credit card number will not be sent to Method. There is an old forum post that ...

Yes, I've seen transactions sent from Method to QuickBooks come back from QuickBooks on the second sync with the Address fields garbled because QuickBooks changes the data according to its own fuzzy logic.
(from another thread:)It's important to understand how QuickBooks uses Addr4 and Addr5. Thos e fields are essentially ...

Hi Charles,
Sorry for the late reply. This issue you are referring to is related to QuickBooks Online I believe. They changed they way they handle the addresses to free form, which in turn affects they way we receive them, and how we set them up. We are still working on this.
You issue however I don't think falls into this. ...

Hi kbquinn,
From what i can see, with some quick testing, we can sync over an Alternative Contacts "name" field for each Customer, but only if when adding this to Quickbooks, you use the contact type as "Secondary Contact". However, this appears to be the only field from this area that will get synced over ...

Hi handcrafted,
The Method for QBD and Method for QBO tables/screens are different and the QBO authentication functionality does not exist on Method for QBD accounts, therefore you won't be able to sync Method for QBD data to a QBO account. Additionally, we do not recommend importing screens from one type of Method account to the other, ...
