Hi Shawn,
First off, I apologize for taking this long to answer your post, I had to think about your options for this one a bit. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to do this using the stock tables/fields. If this is something you really want, then you will have to Customize the "CustomerEquipment" screen, as well as the ...

Hi Marcelo,
The main difference is that when you delete a work order, it removes it from the system. Cancelling it leaves a record of it on the system. Deleted work orders are typically if you create a work order by mistake -- cancel is useful if, for instance, you have to cancel some day's work because of something business related, and need ...

Hi Kurt,
There actually is no way in Method to change the ContactType value, this is a field in QuickBooks that we can read but not modify/edit in Method. If this is for QuickBooks Desktop version, I can tell you that we sync with the main QuickBooks contact, which shows up as the "Primary Contact" in QuickBooks, which when ...

Hi Nancy, and welcome to our Forums,
Q1: INactive customers - do they all come over with the first sync?
- Yes, on your first sync, your inactive Customers should get synced over to Method. If you don't see them from your Customers->Customers and Contacts List screen in Method, make sure you have selected the "view ...

Hi Bryan,
Strange -- can you try to send another test email and let me know? I'll check our email queue to see if it's getting stuck on anything. Your'e using the SMTP settings that Office 365 provided? I'm not sure which ports you've tried, but give 465 (with SSL), 587 (with SSL) and 25 (without SSL) a try as well.

Hi Bryan,
Unfortunately, at this time we don't offer native support for Office 365 -- it's in development. The only thing I can think of is that some versions of Office 365 may offer you the ability to use a Desktp client with it, in which case the plugin may work, but otherwise there's no real way to integrate it ...

Hey Stuart,
You were able to give me some good info in your last post, I might need to refine one of my tests to mimic what you are doing here. I agree however, it would be great to relook at this if you do come across it again. I will do another test in my own account, however if I still can't recreate this, I will await for some ...

Stuart,
It's no problem, just let me know if you have any issues.

Hi Stuart,
I created an example of using the "Call WebService" action in my own account. Hopefully you will find this helpful, I actually used a public web service offered by w3schools for this example, so technically you could recreate this yourself in your own account.
For more information on the specific w3Schools web service I ...

Hi Stuart,
I have a couple of follow-up questions that should help as I look into this for you. Are you syncing with a QuickBooks Desktop account? Have you been able to recreate this issue again, if not, can you try, using the same discount item, would it happen if you created this in Method? Did you enter any quantity for the ...
