Hi Andy,
I did a little research and found out that you cannot actually filter by the Detail table. Inside the Generate Report action you can only filter by the Master table. I see that the option is there to choose the detail table but it doesn't actually work. I'm going to see if we can get that removed. I suggest making the ...

Glad you got it working!
You mentioned that the first action in your action set is a Call Another Action Set action. The Conditional Warning action that I was referring to is probably within the original action set that is being called. By default, the action set that's being called is the Save button in the Additional Info ...

Hi Andy,
I tried this out and I'm getting the same error. I'll have to look into it a little further. In the meantime though, a workaround could be to put your TxnDate filter directly into the Report Designer. Use the Filter String for the DetailReport band. See my screenshot below:
I'll post here as soon as I have an ...

A user emailed Method with this question:
Could it be possible to create a hyperlink in Method that can carry CRM actions? This way, in the customer notes field, we could send CRM users to another area where the details are stored. Also, QB users could at least see that more information is available in the CRM.

A user asked how to delete the tax code label that shows up per item on the stock Invoice(Product) report. See below:
To delete this, you must edit the report. Here is a link to an article about the Report Designer and within this article you'll find a link to download the program. Once you're in the Report Designer, make a copy ...

Hi Andy,
I believe this forum post will help. I talk about how to filter by the TxnDate with an advanced script. You could use a similar script in your Generate Report action. Also, this post will show you where in the Generate Report action you could put the script. Let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi Suzanne,
All the records that are assigned to this user will remain assigned to him if you make him inactive and remove his ability to sign in. The user will not actually be deleted from Method, just marked as inactive (therefore not showing up in your users list unless you click Show inactive users). If you like, you could ...

LJR,
A credit memo in Method provides the same functions as in Quickbooks. You can use credit memos for refunds and it will adjust your Quickbooks inventory levels accordingly. The stock Credit Memo screen in Method gives you the option to choose the items and quantities credited, which will then be added back ...

LJR,
Click here for a breakdown of the differences between Method CRM and Method CRM Pro. The Report Designer and Quickbooks sync will work fine on Method CRM. You won't be able to do any advanced customization though (ie. creating tables and dropdown lists).

Hi Ken,
Click here for some great documentation on Tags if you haven't already seen it. You can add/edit tags from the Add/Edit Contacts screen. Simply hover your mouse over the tags icon in the top left corner. See my screenshot below:
