I'm having an issue with customers not knowing what there balance is because they dont know to look at the "Home" screen in the portal. When an invoice is sent and they click the generated link it takes them to the "Recent transactions" tab by default and this tab does not have the idiot ...

Nope - this is the only instance of that name in the entire entity table.

Hi Mike,
This usually comes up when another Entity has the same name. This is not necessarily a customer or job, it could be an employee or vendor with the same name. To find out you can export the Entity table with the Import/Export Tool and search for the subaccount in the Name field.
Let me know how this turns out.

When I go into a particular subaccount and try to change/add any information like a phone number or email address, I get the "Customer/Vendor/Other Name is alerady in use" message.
But ONLY for this particular subaccount. No other subaccounts for this parent (or for any other parents) exhibit this behaviour.

thanks for the update. We were going to call the report from the edit customer screen and select the transactions relating only to that customer. I assumed that we would need the customer table in the report to achieve this.
