Hi VLocke,
It sounds like you are close, however it depends on how you have setup the Class Dropdown field in your Customer table. You should be good if added the new field by going to Customize->Tables/Fields, then created a new Dropdown Field Name (in my test I called it ClassCustomer), and when you click "Add Field", you ...

Looks like that was the issue, the dashboard that I was viewing had to be copied/edited to include the Notes field. Thanks for your quick response.

To find this field from the field list, go to Estimate>EstimateLine.Estimate>Desc (See my screenshot below). If the Desc field you chose is named EstimateLine.Desc, you may ...

Hi Ted Pikul,
Has the 'Notes' field been added to the customer dashboard screen you are referring to?
According to the message you recieved back from the api everything went through no problem....and the API is pretty rigid about throwing errors when something goes wrong.

in Estimate, I can choose email notification when saving, then my customer is able to receive the link to look at the PDF estimate, how could I do the same thing in my sales order? Thanks.

You're right, I was slightly mistaken. The screens changes will show, however you'll need to sign in to the live site first. You may see that occassionally when you sign in, there are some screens that generate before you are completely logged in. This is what needs to happen for your portal screens before they will ...
