You can definitely delete invoices and an estimate in Method and Quickbooks and it will definitely make the proper changes in the other respective application.

My guess from reading your question is that you signed up for the desktop version. There is nothing to install for QB Online version, so it would be a dead end.
Try going to appcenter.intuit.com/method-CRM and signing up for a trial from there.
You should be able to get started right away.
