Thanks for the suggestion Matt! Julie, Is this a good solution for your organization? If not, please elaborate on your current process. Are you utilizing the Field Service Operations or Scheduling & Invoicing app by any chance? - Ashur

  • Re: Convert to Customer button missing

Hi Robyn, In order to rebuild the Convert to Customer button, you'll need to edit it and look at the actions that are triggered when that button is clicked. You can edit the CRM_EditLead(2) screen (or make another copy of your original screen without replacing any tab links) in order to view the actions for that button since it doesn't ...

  • Re: Conditionally Hide Detail1 row in Report Designer - Invoice(Product)

Hey sbradley, I've tested this with rows and it does work, but there are a few things to consider: 1) Ensure you are using "==" and not "=" to compare. i.e. IsNullOrEmpty([Item])==True 2) Also once you are finished editing the formatting rule it must be added to the Formatting Rule Editor List ...

  • Re: Roles

jashley, One way you can prevent users from editing is to hide the Save buttons. You can place the action Show/Hide Field/Object within a conditional statement to allow the logged in user to only see the Save button if the record is assigned properly. This might be a large project as there are many screens you might need ...

  • Re: Changing the Line Order in an Estimate

That will work for just changing it in the MEthod Estimates tab. But once you try to print to a PDF template it is going to sort according to the Line Order number. So is there a way that you can make the Line Order number save when you change it in the grid in the Estimate Tab. Be Default you can change the value but you can't save those ...

  • Re: changing a tag name

Ben, The tags were disappearing? That's definitely strange. I tested with a tag and about 120 contacts. All of them changed. I'll test it further and see if I can replicate any of this. - Adam

  • Re: Choosing a date range for a report through a popup window?

Karen, I’m not sure if this can be achieved via a popup, but I have a few dashboards that include reports for cases and activities created by month. I have two date pickers on the screen. One is hidden and is set to the current date/ time. The other is set by the user. Then in step 2 of 4 on the report object wizard I have a ...

  • Re: Changing the Line Order in an Estimate

Step 4 of 9 on the grid for the estimate line items includes 3 dropdowns in which you can define the sort order for grid items (filter by any field in the table). So you can sort by record ID, then date then amount for instance. Also by clicking on the field heading on the live grid you can sort ascending or descending, again by ...
