  • Re: Linking Three Tables

Hi jsautel, I’m not sure I understand what you’ve built and what you’re trying to add or change. Is this a screen or a report? Do you think you could include a screenshot of what you have and do your best to explain what you’re trying to add and or change about the image? Thanks, Audisho
  • Re: Tables

Hi Marcelo11756, The Activity table holds all Work Order records, as they are technically an Activity Type. When you say service item table, are you referring to the Item table? If so, the Activity table is already linked to it by the FullName field in the Item table. What is your goal? What exactly are you trying to ...

  • Re: Portal Tables

Hi Greg, Thank you for your help. When I add the screen to the portal page (as you did) I am able to see everything in the grid perfectly fine when I am the user logged in. However, the grid is empty if I log in as a contact through the portal. Could you please verify that your grid is visible in a portal session and not just while ...

  • Re: Retrieving distinct values from tables

Hi Rolf, To accomplish what you are suggesting you need to do a few things.  1) First, you must add a linked field to the InvoiceLine. Under Customize -> Tables -> InvoiceLine click edit fields. Select Linked Field from the radio button. Choose ...

Data entry in Method is identical across all our collection points (Outlook, Gmail, web forms and our Method CRM screens).  The Entity and Contacts table will have a record of every new lead, customer or vendor.  The Customer table will have an entry for both leads and non leads. • Re: Custom Report not in method

Hello larrydement,      To link tables, you create a dropdown field linking the tables together.  Dropdown fields act as the relationships between the database tables.     Is it that you are looking to add and remove fields from the invoice report?  You can select customer information from the field ...

  • Re: Inventory tables

Hi Ben, The tables you see in your old account are from the discontinued Method Warehouse app. Over the summer, we removed these tables from any new accounts, which is why you don't see them in your new trial. These weren't tables that connected to QuickBooks, so there's no lost functionality. All of the standard ...

  • Re: Wait...there is an Entity table?

Hello Sixtel, The entity table is a special table :) It encompasses the Customer, Vender, Employee and Other name tables into one. So you can think of it as the Customer being a ‘subset’ of the Entity table for instance. The reason this is done is so that you can for example be able to write a check to an employee, to a vendor or even ...
  • Re: How to Mass Delete Uploaded Contented in a Table

Hi Louie, If this is a custom table that does not contain links to any other tables or is not linked to by any other tables, you could simply create a button to remove all data from the table. A Delete Record From Table action where RecordID Greater Than 0 would suffice. If this is the standard Customer  table or if the table is linked by / ...
