Hi there,
We removed this setting a few years back after the introduction of the universal MethodID. If you are finding the timeout length in your Classic account is too short, shoot me an email at Success@method.me and we can Extend the timeout length for your account / users manually.

I recently connected my Method account to a new QB company file and now when trying to create items through the API I'm getting errors: Save Warning: The Item could not be sent to QuickBooks. This Name is already in use. Please edit the Name so that it is unique and save again.

Creating new contacts with the same Tag name works fine on our end and I dont see any duplicates being created. Also, just curious as to where you are seeing these duplicates? Is it possible that there is an extra space added somewhere in one of these "New Lead" tags?

This helped out immensely. Everything is working after looking up the Entity_RecordID after creating the contact and then crossreferncing the original contactID with the Entity_RecordID and using that number to update the listing in the Contacts table.
