Am I able to add an invoice by inserting a new record and then it will sync with QB?
OR is it more complicated, I came across this in the API docs
However, in some circumstances it does not, especially on transactions (for example Invoices) that require line items (such as InvoiceLine). In those scenarios, you would first ...
Any chance this is due to archiving the QuickBooks database?
Very likely - depends on your options when archiving. I know there is the ability to remove old transactions and lists that aren't being used - when you do this Method has no way of know they were archived.

These conflicts can prevent the sync from completing. This specific conflict you are referring to is coming from QuickBooks and you need to follow the instructions given in the message to try to resolve the conflict.

Pdirect- What
we are trying to achieve is to minimize the amount of fields a user needs to
change/input when they create an activity based on its type. The Outlook
plugin's sync is based off Activity type and based on which tab link you click
it has a defaulted type.

Hi Allison,
Contact is a required field, there is no way to do this. Customers need a Main Contact to sync with QuickBooks, so Leads do as well, since they'll eventually (hopefully) be converted to a Customer.
Hope this helps.

The user syncing doesn't have access to the Trial Balance. When you sync with QuickBooks open, the permissions for the user logged into QuickBooks are used. When you sync with QuickBooks closed, the permissions for the user listed in QuickBooks Integrated Application preferences are used.
