I am considering switching to QBO so that everything is in the cloud and I do not have to rely on a local server anymore. Hi Mike,
If you click Show Additional info? on the Edit Activities screen, you'll see Actual Start Date and Completed Start Date. These fields populate the Last Activity field. See my screenshot below:

I did what you said and then selected one of the invoices that dont have the tax on it, and it does the same.
Do I have to generete a new invoice from that screen??

The Company merge field is used on serveral screens, it just isn't included on the Activity screen. As a test, could you create a case, and make sure to check off the "Email Case notification to user when saving?". Save this case and see if you recieve and Case notification email. ...
