Is there any way of setting a filter on a grid depending on an action result retrieved on screen load? I'm looking to change grid filters when a particular screen is opened from different tabs and tab links. Edit: just found this in the grid actions under set filter view.

Anyone calling the Method API from javascript (jquery)? Examples?

thanks for the response. Issue is I need to pull fields from the contact table as well, not just the activity table. I know the tables are linked but I am just unsure how to create a report using contact and activity tables. thanks

Hey Jerry, You can do this by editing the Estimate template using our Report Designer tool. You'll need to be running in a Windows environment in order to download and install this tool. You'll just need to delete the EstimateLine.SalesTaxCode field. Hope this helps! - Ashur

On some of our estimates, we have noticed the phrase Non-Tax in the Datial portion of the Total column next to the prices per line item.  This appears on the printed estimates we send to customers.  We need to remove the wording "Non-Tax" in the Total column.

Thanks Adam, This customer does not show in my resolve conflicts, I tried what you said to no avail. Also, the customer does exist in QB and to my knowledge we have never tried to delete this customer from QB or from Method. Is there anything else I can do to try and get Method to re-add this customer or something of the like?

We celebrated too soon... I was able to change the template for the Estimates in order to display the Sales Rep's FullName, and it worked briefly, but now that part of the template has reverted back to displaying Estimate.SalesRep Instead of FullName. Hi Ken, Since the field was added to the Activity table, it won't be available in your Invoice screen as it's based off of the Invoice table. I dragged the new fields into my custom estimate screen, and they are displaying the customers info in them, but htey are still not showing up in the estimates in print preview. 

With the help of a Consultant, we created a field on the EditLeads screen that displays a list of leads generated by leads checked with the IsReferralSource checkbox (that we also created).
