Hi I have changed computers to new windows 8 64x. I have installed quickbooks again and method sync with listner and gives me Method PUSH status:  awaiting secure https connection constantly. Allison,  I found a work around that you can use in the meantime. When you are creating an estimate, if you select your items and press Update on the grid before manually entering your reference number, then it will not be overwritten by either Quickbooks or Method.  Jason

This can be done through customization and will work well for your organization but only if other users (that don't have their own templates) need to print templates as well. The only thing that is different between the templates is contact information for each user. Otherwise, the template auto generates the same information from the estimate details. All of the users responsible for creating estimates have their own custom template.

Hi ashead, Out of curiosity, are the users templates completely customized for each person or are only certain things changed, i.e. name, position, number, etc? Do you have other users, which don't have their own custom templates, that will also need to utilize templates as well? - Ashur
