Hi Monica,
I tried adding a custom field to my Item Receipt in QuickBooks to see if it would come over to Method but I can't find the location where I can add custom fields to item receipts in QuickBooks.
One option in Method is to add a linked field to the ItemReceiptLineItem table that links the custom fields using the Item.

Hey John,
I haven't heard this from anyone else but I will bring this up for discussion in our next Method meeting. An easy fix for you would be to customize the screen and replace the existing PDF icon(Picture Object) with a different image maybe a copy of the icon with some text added to it.

If you add a custom field to your QuickBooks items it should come over to Method. You can verify this by going to Customize > Tables / Fields and editing the Item table. Take a look at the Print Before scripts on the Qty and Cost fields on the Estimate (Custom) template. This should give you a better idea of what you need to do.
