I put it in a couple of places: In Item->Text Change, followed by a Save Grid and Refresh Grid. In Quantity -> Lose Focus, followed by Save Grid and Refresh Grid.

I created an unload field in the opportunities table. I have added it to my web form. The problem is it shows as a text box. How do I get it to show as an upload link?

James,  I have tested it and it works the way I described earlier. The Save Grid Row action no longer exists, it has been replaced by Save Grid. Let me know if you still experience unexpected behaviour with these actions but I think you'll find that the behaviour is different then from when you started this thread.  - ...
