Hi Marcelo,
Yes this can be done. Keep in mind that the job name will change for the entire series and all occurrences still connected to the series, so if an occurrence is broken from the series then its job name won't update.

Also do the lead and customer screens need to be the same since they are both based on one table or can they be unique as in have certain fields put into the screen on one and other fields put into the other? I ask only in terms of would this affect dropdowns the way that I described?

Since the update, there have been some problems with some dropdowns that I added in to the customer table. They were pulling from the record ID's of every customer and lead and then filtered through another field. The problem is that the selection for creating the dropdown list via the record ID goes blank after so much time/adding a third ...

Good - glad to hear you are back to normal.
So, yes, if QB is corrupted, it's going to play havoc with Method (or any 3rd party app for that matter) since the data it is providing is invalid and can break the sync until the file is fixed.
I guess the best advice I can give is if your QB is getting shaky, backup OFTEN.

turned out qbs file was corrupted. After 3 verifications and a rebuild and a couple of full syncs we only have 4 conflicts now. Is this kind of conflict issue often due to qbs file corruption? We have had lots of issues with qbs since 2013 version so will know in future its probably a corrupted file not sync issue?
thanks

Let's say that I create a recurring work order name 'Lawn mowing' and I schedule this to several customers.
Six months later I decide that I want to change the name of the service from "Lawn mowing" to "Mow, Edge and BLow".
Can this be done?

Can every step or application have a different 'job item" ?
If I create a Step#1 (item service from QB), and have an invetory item 20-8-8 fertilizer, can step#2 have a differente job item?
I see how I can create the 6 occurrences and change the name, but I don't see how I can change the job item. If this can't be done.
How ...

When I create a new recurring work order, and go to insert the occurrences, all the occurences from the previous work order are there, is this normal?
-
What will be the best way to accomplish this?
In our current software we schedule work orders to renew automatically and we try to upsell to our customers by scheduling work orders on "estimate status" this are services that we want them to consider, but not have them yet.
At the end of the season we sent our renewals letter, with 2 ...

Ben - do a full sync with QuickBooks first, before doing anything drastic. They might come back. This can show up sometimes temporarily if a full sync was interupted before it completed.
