can't figure out how to do this. would be so grateful for the insight into how to customize this page- I also want to add an Account Manager field that is a dropdown menu so that I can assign accounts to different account managers. thanks!

If you want to try and customize it yourself I would suggest copying the CRM_EditDocumentLink screen and reverse engineering the actions used to link other records such as an Activity. Is this happening on the stock CRM_EditCustomer screen or on your customized version? If it's happening on your customized screen then edit the screen, click the Advanced button, and look at the actions under the OnScreenLoad event. I hope you were able to get your grid to behave better. I looked a little further into your issue and unfortunately found that the solution I described in my last post is the only one. Improving the grids in Method is of high priority though, and we hope to make these improvements soon.

For future reference make sure that the screen and/or table are not being edited when you're actually accessing the live screen itself.

To set role permissions at the screen level first go to Customize>Tabs. Click on Edit Tab Links... next to the tab that the screen is located in. From here you will given a list of the tab links (screens) within that tab and the option to set the role permissions for them.

Do you see anything unusual when you save the document? Is the document not in the grid? Have you checked your SmartVault account to see if the document was uploaded to SmartVault? Since this is an issue with a stock screen, you can call into support at 1-888-925-6238 x2 and we can take a look at it with you.

Did you try my suggestion of regenerating the tables? To do this, under Customize > Tables/Fields click 'Edit Fields' for the InvoiceLineItems table and then click the button for Finish Editing Fields. If this doesn't work could you email me your account name and enable the MethodSupport user?
