I agree with Ronen, be very careful to include the field 'IsLeadStatusOnly' and set each row in the excel (each record) to have the value of 'True' for this field. This field ensures they are imported and held as leads only.

If you are using Method for QB Desktop, again make sure that the sync engine is running and connected. For Method for QB Online the changes should also sync over but I would double check the status of the sync here too just in case.

Every table must have a record ID…but it won't appear as a listed field under Customize>>>Tables / Fields because it's just assumed it is there.
