This change can be made through the Property Grid > Text > Format String section as well. When making your change was the {0: } brackets and the 0 still available? Was the SalesOrder.TXNDate field selected when you made the change or was the Date label checked.

I was utilizing the format string on the right hand side of the screen. After clicking on the small arrow above it has now formatted correctly. What is the property grid on the right side of the report designer used for then?

Are you changing the format for the right field? In report Designer you will need to click on the little arrow on the upper right of the field just below the Date Label titled SaleOrder.txnDate where you can set the Format String.

I am trying to edit the look of the sales order report in the Report Designer. After I have updated the Format string to have the date appear the way I want(MM/dd/yyyy), I click on the preview and both the date and time appear. Are we talking about the same QuickBooks_TimeTracking screen? To access it go to the QuickBooks Tab Group (top right of the screen) > Click on the Employees tab > then click the Time Tracking tab link. The fields exist in the TimeTracking table so they can be added to the screen and grid, see my screenshot below.

Hi Ben,
No that won't be necessary. The slow down could have happened for any number of reasons including an issue with the browser or internet speed. If this continues, you can try a different browser and see if that helps.

I managed to get it to work after I figured out how far the import had gone and refreshed everything.
Do you still need the info for the slowing down issue?
