Not a problem! :)
A new screen and table will automatically be created only for a new dropdown field type. Other field types such as text or decimal will not.

Not sure why it doesn't have a type, it should be either a Lead/Customer or Vendor. What happens if you select the result with an empty type field? Do you see the customers information? If so add the contact to that record then refresh your Method web page and see if the new contact is associated with the correct Customer.

Ok thanks.
Just want to make sure that I am doing this right.
So every time I create a new field in the customer table, a new screen will be automatically created?

Yes. If you deleted the screen that was created automatically with your dropdown table and you think that you may need to edit or add to the dropdown choices in the future I would suggest recreating the screen like I mentioned above.

The screen I deleted was not created by me, I do not need it. It was created automatically when I added a dropdown filed to the customer table.
I just did not know that I was going to need it to edit the field in the future, do I still have to follow all the steps the you especified before?

Marcelo,
Since you have your equipment already in Method as fixed assets, instead of using the equipment field, you can customize the grid on the Add/Edit Work Order screen to allow you to select a fixed asset for that job item. You would have to add the field to the ActivityJobItem table as a dropdown linked to the item table. You can then ...

When I search two names appear, the customer lead that was in method before, and the new name with the new email address, but it does not have a "type", and the gadget does not find it.
-
Also, I deleted one of the new screen from one of the new dropdown fields, I did not know what it was.
Will I have to delete the dropdown field and create it again to fix this??
-
Hi Marcelo,
Click on the Contact was not found link on the Google Gadget then search for the customers name. You'll be able to select the customer and add this name/email as an additional contact. Hope this helps!
