Just to confirm, when you create an Invoice in QB with a Group Item and save, the tax code is overwritten with the correct one? when the invoice is created there? But when the invoice is created in Method is when the tax code is not overwritten for the Group Item?

You should be fine to install it. We haven't had anything reported about the plugin and Windows 8.

I'm using it on Win8 Pro with no problems however I'm using the new Outlook 2013. I did not try older Outlooks.

I don't believe you can edit the values in that grid to only show active employees only. What you can do is edit the screen and add a second resource in Step 3: Choose Resources. You can add the 'IsActive' field as an additional resource. You can then type "True" in the grid to show only active employees.

Yes, we're using QuickBooks Canada.
So if an item has a basic GST tax applied to it, but the invoice is in an HST province, the HST for the customer overrides the GST for the item on the invoice. Are you using the Canadian edition of QuickBooks by any chance? The reason I ask is because the QuickBooks SDK is very picky for QB Canada (and I'm assuming other International versions) when it comes to this.
