• Re: State Taxes

Hi Eddie, Method will sync with the default sales tax settings from QBO. Can you make sure that your QBO is set correctly and perform a full sync? A full sync is needed to have Method set the default sales tax. A changes only sync will not trigger this. - Adam

• Re: Are checkboxes a valid field?

Ahh. This is starting to come together a little bit then. So even though I am importing this list as "CustomerLeads", there is no CustomerLeads table/fields. It is really the same thing as the Customer table. Leads when converted to a customer then transfers the data in the lead table to equal the data in the customer ...
• Re: merging customers

You can certainly delete a customer or lead. If they are a customer in both QB and Method, this will delete them in both places. I should also mention that you can merge customers in Quickbooks, and by doing that, they will also merge in Method, moving all of the links to that customer as well. - Adam

• Re: merging customers

Thanks for the reply. If this does happen is there a way to delete a customer or lead?
• Re: merging customers

Hi Angie, First off, I'm glad you are enjoying Method. Method doesn't actually have a merge function. I would compare the two lists and remove the duplicate customers or leads, making sure to keep the most up-to-date information. - Adam

• Re: Are checkboxes a valid field?

Hi theavspecialist, You need to create the Yes/No fields in the Customer table first, then you can edit your screen to delete the current Yes/No field you're using and select the field which you just added to your table. Then edit your CSV file to include this column as well, and enter the word Yes for all rows with records. The default ...

• Re: sales orders to invoices

Dave, The proper way to invoice a sales order would be to create the invoice from the Sales Order screen. The stock invoice screen lists all of the invoices created and allows you to create or edit new ones. You can go to the Customers and Contacts link and under transactions view the transactions for the customer. Something ...

• Product List and Customer List

In Quickbooks all the items listed as a product are marked for Sale Tax. Also all Customers are marked for sales tax. When we create an invoice in method the items and customers are not marked as taxabel. Why does Method not keep the same format when Syncing with quickbooks? Can we make the default sale tax instead of no?

• merging customers

Hello - I'm brand new and have really enjoyed all the things I've learned already in method. I'm ready to start importing lists of customers and leads that I have on different excel sheets. I'm wondering if I have a lead on two different lists is there a way to merge these 2 together in method? Or if they are ...
