To add a bit to this. This feature is not fully functional yet, so I'd advise to use at your own risk. It may work as expectd, but I'd recommend doing extensive testing first, to ensure proper roles are viewing the proper views.

Hi Andy,
On step 2 of the wizard for creating a filter view, you should be able to select the roles that can view the filter. On my tests, the filter did not show in the dropdown.

Is there a way of completley hiding a filter view on a grid by role.?
At the moment I can still see the filter name in the dropdown but it can't be selected by certain roles. I would like to hide the filter completely.

I usually use Firefox too, but had a message pop up on my screen that there was an issue with the browser so I moved to Chrome for the day. Mine is version 18.0.1.
Chrome seems to be working fine.

I can't log in with Firefox18. I can go to the website, enter my information, but the login button doesn't work. It works with the latest version of internet explorer, but certain screens and links in method cause IE to crash. I'm trying to fix other issues with method and I have to stop and reboot frequently. Any ideas?
