Just so I understand....when you filter the grid, you'd filter by the job first, then the type of transaction? Example: all invoices for Customer A: Job X, the grid would show a line for each invoice with Customer A: Job X? Then total the amounts at the bottom.?
What type of business would this be for? This seems ...

Just wanted to add the Invoice, received payment, Labor, etc.. would be in the typ filter and the comlums to be added are the ones described above with a go to link on the left to view the transaction if needed.

An update was just released for the API, now when there is a null value in the string array you should get back a message indicating one of the values in the array is blank rather than the standard your login has failed message

yes this would be part of the transactions grid with the columns and rows indicated above in addition to the exisiting columns already there the amounts would be each indivual transaction with a bottom total for all and when filtered by type. specifacally for each job.

You can't merge customers in Method, merging would have to be done within QuickBooks. You can then set certain redundant customers as inactive either in Method or in QuickBooks,. If you haven't synced your data to Method yet then the most efficient way would be to make them inactive in QuickBooks. Regardless, these changes will take place ...

In your string array of insert columns or your string array of insert values....are any of the values null?

Can you give a bit more detail? Do you want this as a single grid in transactions? Would these be totals for the customer?

Also, for clarification,
We are able to do other MethodAPI calls on the table, just not insert.
We can call method to get all the fields for the table, but Iwe still get the error when trying to insert a record.

The part about Outlook I get entirely now. The issue that I really want to figure out is how to clear out redundant contacts/merge contacts from Quickbooks using Method in the most efficient manner, and then also is it possible to then update Quickbooks as well so that the redundant contacts merge there or are deactivated?
