Sorry if I missed this but there is there way to clear a grid's criteria from an Action? Thanks

When I start a new invoice I can not make the items taxable in the list instead I have to creat items on the invoice then mark them taxable.  In Quickbooks taxable items are marked taxable when set up.  Is there a way to make the items taxable so when I pick for the invoice it knows to post the sales tax.
