You can't merge customers in Method, merging would have to be done within QuickBooks. You can then set certain redundant customers as inactive either in Method or in QuickBooks,. Can you give a bit more detail? Do you want this as a single grid in transactions? Would these be totals for the customer?

Also, for clarification,
We are able to do other MethodAPI calls on the table, just not insert.
We can call method to get all the fields for the table, but Iwe still get the error when trying to insert a record.

The part about Outlook I get entirely now. The issue that I really want to figure out is how to clear out redundant contacts/merge contacts from Quickbooks using Method in the most efficient manner, and then also is it possible to then update Quickbooks as well so that the redundant contacts merge there or are deactivated?

I would like the transactions in the edit customer screen to include and have an available filter of the following below. This info has to be for each specified/job/customer.

Hi Kitty,
You could make the sub jobs that are completed (2011 jobs) inactive, so they won't show in Method with the filter view Shared Active Customer Contacts. They will still exist that way.
