Nick - to respond to your question about API vs Interface. It all goes to the same place. The API saves data to the same tables and shares the same common libraries as the interface. It flags to the sync engine that a sync needs to be done in the same way too. The sync engine is de-coupled from both the API and the interface, so it makes no ...

As Keith points out in the forum post you listed above, addresses in QuickBooks are a pain. We are at their mercy, as we're using the SDK and can't override it.
Suggestion 1: Stay away from Addr4 and Addr5 altogether. While they are okay for an Add, they are horrible for an Edit, as the users in the IDN forum were pointing out. ...

There is currently no way.
But try using HTML by insert <br /> for a line break.

@vdefabis - I heard back from the developers. Good news, the actual act of looking into feasibility of doing it, led to 1/2 the work being done. So they got the go ahead to finish the other half.
The "September" version will have this 'fix', later this month. However, it should be noted that it still isn't a fully ...

The Notes field is under the "Add Fields" tab in the screen designer. Just need to scroll down.
If you aren't familiar with editing screens, then you'll need to go to Customize > Screens to edit your copy of the the CRMQBO_EditCustomer screen.

Just edit your customized copy of the CRMQBO_EditCustomer screen, and drag the "Notes" field on there somewhere.
Then republish!
Method will know what to do from there.

I understand.
Before you start coding, two things I should mention:
(1) I have a ticket in. So you might want to wait until I at least get an answer back on viability. We're not holding out on mobile screens in portals to make a quick buck off your contractors...it's just a design/resource/priority thing for us. So I can at least hear ...

I see.
There are 3 types of logins into Method:
(1) Normal login (login.aspx) - intended purpose is for staff in the office.
(2) Mobile login (mobile.aspx) - intended purpose is to serve up mobile-optimized pages for staff in the field.
(3) Portal login (thirdpartyportal.aspx) - intended purpose is to give "My Account" ...

@vdefabis -
I'm guessing you are creating a customized portal rather than using the standard one?
Every portal has a default tab. If you view this tab regularly in Method, does this screen show up okay?
Also, can you verify that the screen is a normal screen, and not a mobile-optimized screen?

Microsoft stopped supporting VBA with SOAP toolkit with Excel 2010 (64 bit). I have the same problem on my machine. I spent 1/2 a day a few months ago researching for an updated SOAP toolkit library, but Microsoft has killed it. The general consensus on all articles and discussion groups I found is that there is ...
