Hi there Maureen,
Is the 'New Company file' you mentioned a completely separate file? Or is this just a restored backup or the currently existing file?
The statement that 'My Method database can only ever be synced with one quickbooks company file and that if I have a problem with my quickbooks company file and want to make a new ...

Hi Ken,
You will need to first export your data from Salesforce to a CSV file. I’m not too familiar with Salesforce, but it looks like you might be able to do this by generating a report.
You will need to modify this file before importing it into Method, as the field names and data requirements will differ between Method and Salesforce. To ...

Hi Peri Janis,
Tags are an excellent way of classifying your leads for the purpose of creating email campaigns.
Associating tags to your leads cannot be done when importing directly into the Customer Leads table. When you import a record into the Leads table, Method will automatically create a record in the Contacts table for ...

Hi John,
Edit: We don't recommend that users import screens from QuickBooks Desktop(QBD) to QuickBooks Online(QBO). Hi Shane,
Are you sure you are aren't using the update feature on the Import / Export tool to try and 'update' rather than import new leads? The message indicates you're trying to update.

Argh. I understand now...I had some wonky table fields and associations, left over from when I first created the screen. I think I understand how all the data is stored now and should make my data import a little easier.

Hi Mario,
In order to troubleshoot this issue I would need you to enable your MethodSupport user: Go to Customize > Users > click the Active checkbox next to the MethodSupport user. Once that's done let me know via email and also include your Method Company Account name, not your username.

Hmm... OK, this was my mistake. I am not sure why, but I was trying to do the import update into the Contacts table and not Customer. I tried a test update on one record into Customer and it worked just fine! Thanks again.

Mike,
If QB has an import feature specifically for Constant Contact, that may be the better route.
Either way you do it, the information will sync between Method and QuickBooks. If there's a tool specifically for the software you're importing from, use that, and the data should sync over to Method just fine.
