Hi Karen, Any other users who connect to that QuickBooks file and use Method will need the Method Integration Engine installed on their PC's so that changes made in QuickBooks sync automatically to the web. Check out our Initial Setup Guide for more information. - Ashur

Andy, There is nothing you can really do to optimize the sync engine.  You can go into Method and change the types of tranactions and the frequency of them when they sync to the Quickbooks.  By eliminating transactions that you don't use or reducing the frequency, you can reduce the amount of time the engine takes to sync. ...
