What Record ID is being populated in the custom field job #, is it the Customer Record ID or the Job of Customer Record ID? Is this field associated with a custom field in your Customer table?
If not, you should create a field to hold this data in order to display it where needed.

So long as the fields were also added to the table, you can use the "retrieve value from table" action on the "onScreenLoad" action in the Advanced button.

I created a custom field job # which automatically populates the record id as the job #.
