I suppose it would depend on how many customers are duplicated, and how much information is different. If its a couple of quick updates to a couple of customers, doing it inside Method might be easier. The more records and info, exporting to Excel might be the better route.

Hi Shane,
Right now the ability to hide is enabled for Tabs, Tab Links, and buttons. So objects such as Text fields will not have this enabled until we release the new version of our screen designer next year.

I've had Pro Services installed for quite some time now and didn't have any issues until recently. The fact that the field gets added when installing Pro Services would explain why it wasn't in the other accounts I checked as those do not have Pro Services installed.
