Adam, This cost field is in Quickbooks Online.  if youi make a item a inventory item, then a cost field apears.  I was wondering if method had a field to reference that quickbooks cost field. 

There is a Filter view available on the Work Order screen but I don't think this is what you're referring to. Are you talking about the Filter section when editing the Calendar object (Step 7 of 8), or the Assigned to Field? - Ashur

Now it works and i did not have to do anything.  The grid on the left hand side ususly has a list of the invoices.  That one time they were not there but they were working on the Customer>invoices screen. John M

John, In what table did you find the cost field?  The only cost field I see is the on the EstimateLine grid, which actually refers to the Rate field in the EstimateLine table and also the SalesPrice field in Items.  And yes, both reflect the Price/Rate field in QBO.   - Adam

See if this helps: Go to Customize > Tables/Fields, click on the Invoice table, then click Finished Editing Fields, reload your browser and try again. Let me know what happens. - Ashur
