Correct, if a user does not use QB, then they should not install the MIE. The MIE and QB must be running for the sync to occur.

Hi Robert,
You could try experimenting with different Roles in QuickBooks to see if any of them allow you to sync TimeTracking on a non-master-admin user.

i did the sync w/ our quickbooks and that was great.
however, even w/ ok for my user to use api in 'step 5', tho i downloaded and installed the old version of the outlook plugin... i don't see any "setup button" so i'm not getting the new buttons in outlook (outlook 2003, vista)

You can click on the Clear button for both conflicts and perform a Full-Sync done through Tab:Quickbooks > Tablink : Synchronize > click on Sync now.

It works. Did the sync then it showed in the payments section. Maybe put a note so outher people can know about this?

After completing a work order and instructing the item to be billed, it is unclear how to effective generate the invoice in Quickbooks.
We have not been able to find a solution, can someone advise or direct me to the proper procedures for getting completeed workorders to sync and issue billable invoices.

Can you sync custom fields between Quickbooks Online and Method, or can the custom fields only exist in one or the other linked to the record (i.e. Customer)?

Is there a way to copy or sync Method contacts with Google contacts?

Hi andy,
Are you talking about the custom fields when adding/editing a customer record? If so, after creating a custom field in QuickBooks and performing a Full Sync, you can find the field in Method within the Customer table.
