Update: Well, it appears that the extra stuff in the field happens when I make it "Read-only". Is that a common thing, or a bug? I took off the "Read-only" option and I just saw a "Y".

Hey Ashur! I am actually trying to attach a non method doc somhow to a method email. Just a word file or an excel file from my desktop.

Hey Neil, In order to attach a Method document of your choosing to an email, you would need to create a new screen based off the DocumentLibrary table and utilizing the Document object. I am still looking into if there is a way to attach a file (a survey) to emails that come out of method. I see lots of ways to attach reports via the generate report action. Then you can store them inside of an Action Result and send them out. I just want a way to send a Microsoft Word file which contains my survey to clients through methods email ...

Shane,  If the last uploaded place was SmartVault, the document will be uploaded to SmartVault via the gadget.  If the last place was Method, the gadget will upload to Method.  I'll update this thread when the feature is added. - Adam

Hey John, I was unable to replicate it, see below, also didn't edit any of the stock fields that are automatically populated, i.e. Due Date End. Are you using the stock SchedInv_WorkOrder and SchedInv_WorkOrderList screens? - Ashur
