Hi Tom, if you export the table (include RecordID field). Then add a column to the table IsLeadStatusOnly add Yes to the leads and import again. When at the Step 2, make sure to select "Update existing records by matching the key fields" then select RecordID.

I successfully imported leads into method. The only table for importing is the customer/leads table. I assumed it would ask me if the file contained customers or leads.
If did not and my leads were imported as customers. What did I do wrong. I have customers to import as well as leads that should not be going into QB.

There is no way in Method to change a contact type. This is a Quickbooks field that is set by Quickbooks. I don't know of any way to re-assign a main contact in Method. Your workaround might be the best option. Another workaround would be to add a contact with the exact same info as the original ...

ok,that looks like what i have. I can set other fields, and i can move to the status* field, but set field does nothing on that field. can u give me a screenshot of the settings for the set field command. Maybe i have something wrong there.

I don't know if this is a known issue but there is a common conflict that is generated due to a duplicate entity.
