If the server is off, and the server hosts your QuickBooks database file, then there wouldn't be any syncing going on while it is off - but it doesn't sound like that matters.
You can continue to use Method when the QuickBooks server is off in your office. It will just be using information that was last synced through ...

Nick & Dave -
The tweak is up there now. The total balance will be updated for the direct parent customer on the subsequent changes-only sync, so you are now looking at a 20 minute delay instead of full sync every morning.
The problem stems from a limitation (bug?) in the QuickBooks SDK. The parent customer is not flagged as having been ...

Mike - install Method Field Services (if you are on QB Desktop) or Method Scheduling & Invoicing (if you are on QB Online). Do this under Customize > My Account.
It has mapping built into the calendar. You can make a copy of the screen and reverse engineer what the mapping is doing.

That was stressful way to start a Thursday morning. I'm going to update everyone on what happened.
NON-TECHNICAL answer - OpenID failed because Intuit and Google didn't recognise methodintegration.com anymore.
TECHNICAL answer - In case you want to know that I'm not just throwing a ...

Co-founders of Twitter made big news this week launching branch.com and medium.com. Branch.com is a new way of sharing content you find on the web, and sparking a conversation. Medium.com sets out to rethink the publishing industry. My one sentence descriptions don't do them justice, so I suggest you check them out yourself if you want to be ...

Mark - we're in the middle of a HTTPS server certificate switchover right now. I wonder if it was a temporary blip or a caching issue.
I just tried it and can't duplicate the issue on any of the web servers.
