Thanks, I see what you mean. I guess when I created the "SalesPrice" field, I wanted it to act like the "Rate" field, where it is auto-populated from the default value price in "Item", while still maintaining the flexibility to change it right in the grid if needed.
Let me ask you this, as I think it is the easiest ...

@dottie
When you made a copy of the screen which of the following options did you choose?
Copy Screen Wizard Step 3 of 3
Choose a Tab to add a Tab Link to:
Do not add a Tab Link
Replace links to an existing screen:
Add a Tab Link
If you chose to ‘Replace links to an existing screen’ it would have replaced all links ...

Andy - figured it out.
The field you are referring to 'SalesPrice' on the EstimateLine table is a custom field which is set up as a linked field referencing the Item. You cannot change the value of a linked field the way you are trying to. Do you know why this was added as a linked field? Why not use a regular custom field?
Depending ...

Yes, I did drag the fields onto the CRM_EditCustomer(2) screen that I copied. I dont mind that I cannot make changes directly on the grid, I actually prefer this. I think that the problem is, when I am in the Customer/Jobs Contact list and I click on the Go to... on a specific customer and I hover over that screen, which must be the edit customer ...

Each customer in QB can be assigned job types. When assigning a sales rep in QB you assign it to a customer, and it applies to all job types. In Method, this does not appear to be the case. For all our clients we have a job type called "Main Account" and then other job types exist for personal/staff orders.
So...in Method I changed the ...

@dottie - did you drag the fields onto the CRM_EditCustomer screen? This is also where you would start to add the logic and actions.
To be clear the suggestion above allows you to edit the % on the CRM_EditCustomer screen and then view these on the same screen and/or the Customer and Contacts List. It does not allow changes to be made directly on ...

Mike,
For a "Main Account" job type, I can change the rep to the new rep and save, but the old rep comes back when I re-open. A new sales order made from this job type has the old rep in it
What do you mean for a "Main Account" job type? Are you working with a custom Method screen ...

Andy - can you please do the following.
Within your account enable the MethodSupport user by going to Customize>>>Users and placing a checkmark beside this user.
Email (do not post to this forum) your exact Method account name and Method screen name. Please be sure to include the url of this forum thread in the email to help me ...

I followed all the steps and even created my columns in the customer listfor all 3 fields. The only problem I am having at the moment, is I want to check that I entered my actions correctly, and even though I dragged all 3 fields to the grid for both the customers and contacts, they are not reflecting in the live screen inside the individual ...

I'm not concerned with hostorical sales orders, just ones going forward.
So here's what happens:
1. At the Account Name level on the Edit Customer screen, I can change the sales rep and it's fine. The new sales rep appears when I re-open, and it appears in the Customer List screen
2. For a "Main Account" job ...
