Is there a setting where I can control how many characters are shown in grid cell before the link 'show all' is displayed? This is a nice feature, but I'd like to cut it off at 30 characters and then have the 'show all' link.
I can do it it in SQL - SUBSTRING(field, 1, 30), but the nice 'show all' link doesn't ...

It's a bit confusing because in QuickBooks I can change the rep association for individual customers on the main customer page, but there is no similar option for job types. A customer's job types all have to have the same sales rep as the customer "entity", right?

I double checked and the Make Read Only box was already unchecked for this column. But I did go back and compare my Estimate screen to the original Method Estimate Screen and noticed that ours doesn't have the "New Line Item" option under the grid. I must have done something to it. Is this related to my problem?

Hi Andy,
Based on your comments it could be that the field (column on grid) is set to be read-only.
Edit the grid and navigate to step 2 of the wizard.
Click on the advanced option for that field.
Make sure the option for 'Make Read Only' is not checked.

This should happen automatically if the method suer is linked to a QB Entity that has rep initials. Can you confirm that the user who is logged in that is created the lead is associated?

I changed the sales rep for a number of customers in the Edit Customer screen. My dashboards now reflect these new rep associations.
However, sales orders (invoice screen) still populate the Sales Rep field with the old rep, and when I export the Customer table, the old rep associations are there as well.
Is there a reason why this is happening? ...

I would like to create a Column in the Customer Contact list that provides information on % complete per job.
