It really depends on who will be accessing/using your app....remember for every API call a valid account, login, and password is required.
Personally, I would recommend creating a new user, that way the work of any of your existing users will not be disrupted since only 1 person at a time can be logged in as a specific user.

I need to specify. The field returned is RecordID not Record_ID. If you have a custom field called Record_ID and are trying to retrieve that, it may not be populated if you don't populate it during the insert.

Hi Guys,
I have a weird issue here. I'm creating a customer through the API - The Result is Success with a Record_ID as a value.
I then immediately try to obtain the customer through that Record_ID and I'm getting back NULL. Only after I Sync Method with QuickBooks I can retrieve the customer.
Am I doing something wrong ...

Mark - we're in the middle of a HTTPS server certificate switchover right now. I wonder if it was a temporary blip or a caching issue.
I just tried it and can't duplicate the issue on any of the web servers.

A client called to say that they can't log into their portal. I was able to reproduce the problem. I found that I couldn't login using IE but Chrome is working fine.
Here's the error message I got from IE.
