Assuming you are saying, an entire tab can be transfered at once: how is that done? (We know how to transfer 1 screen at a time. We don't want to transfer 1 screen at a time) 

Not through the API, but is possible in Method:Classic.

Is there a way to transfer a tab with screens? I see other add ons do this: AERO, You Rang, Professional Services, Field Services, Expense Reports, NEXT etc.
