Yes I probably broke it... I went through the document, and everything was already set as per that (English, IMAP), except for the Show All Mail (I always turn that off)  I turned it back on and tried logging out and back in, and still no joy. I can't edit a contact either, I get a slightly different error.  Maybe its time to go ...
