Do activities entered using the Method html pages sync back to Outlook (usin the Outlook Integration app) or do activities only sync from Outlook to the method html pages? i.e. is the sync bidirectional? I don't see the activities syncing from the web to outlook, but I wanted to make sure this was as designed.

I'm wanting to run the "Sales by Rep Detailed" report. I know I can assign this report to a specific user, but is there a way to filter this report to ONLY show sales from a specific rep?

Is there a way to add attachments to a customer's record?

Is there a way to filter the customer list (or search) by the customer "type"
field found in QuickBooks? If so, how?

It would be simpler and make more sense if you had Method setup similar to other CRM systems we've used (such as Microsoft CRM) where you can assign users and/or roles "View, Edit, Delete" privileges. What a hassle to go through all these steps for something simple as this.

Forcing users to go through an unusual method of doing something never works as far as adoption. Most users would never think to go to "advanced search" to create a new lead. There is no logic in that.
No I can try and instruct our users to do that, but it's just one more hoop they have to jump through and they ...

I want them to use items on transactions, but I don't want them to edit/delete the items on the items list.

Thanks. I know I can limit what a user sees, but in my original post I said I did not want to limit what they SEE . . . I want to limit what they DO.
So your suggestion helps with the delete option, but doesn't fix the problem of editing an item. Anyone else know about this?

I want users to be able to see items (i.e. inventory items list) and interact with items (i.e. create orders), but I would like to keep them from editing the pricing, deleting an item, etc. Is this combination possible and if so how?

It would be nice if you would allow first and last name to be added to the user account and then use those names in the dropdown boxes and other displays in Method.
For example, if I'm setting up John Smith, we usually would set that up as jsmith. But then in the dropdown boxes and in the screens, not everyone easily ...
