Just a quick update - the New Lead screen has 2 sections for buttons, one is displayed when the page is a popup and another set that is displayed if the page is not a popup. It's possible that the show section action is not getting called here - are you on a custom new lead screen by chance?

I notice that my customized screens do not come up in the settings to map as a landing page to View / Edit in Method. Will this be possible in the future or is this a limitation of the gadget?

Thanks for a great Google gadget! I'm really enjoying having the contact and other information right there in the email. The Edit / View in Method link is not working on my side though and takes me to a 404 error page. i'm using QBO and have customized the Edit Customer and Edit Lead screens...

Mike - old post, however, I wanted to follow up with you that we are now accepting invites for the Gmail Gadget for Google Apps. Thank you for being so patient - this one took us a while to get up and running.

I believe (with the provided information) that you are on the right track to get convert a Lead to a Customer, with the restriction that the user cannot edit the Lead information. The action on the button should change the 'IsLeadStatusOnly' field.

It's hard to track down something like this and I would assume this is a browser caching problem before Method since it happens very seldom. If you can reproduce the steps for us then we can submit a ticket to the dev team, ...
