so if i already have all the stages added that i want (using the "..." button) and i follow the above steps, will i have duplicate stages? in order to filter, do the stages have to be added in the way you describe above (not using the "..." button).  As for creating the filter, i am following you instructions as above ...

Hi swm023,  The Field Services Operations that I referred to is actually the app called Method Field Services for QuickBooks Desktop. if you are using QuickBooks Online, you will be using the app called Method Scheduling and Invoicing.  I hope that this helps.  Ronen

Got it. Then I'd like to request a feature enhancement that allows the user to maintain their own email account password for their own profile. This keeps the admin out of the loop, preventing them from dealing with their users' email password. Thx

Hi Blake C, As a security measure, the administrator has to create the users username, the initial password, and their individual email settings. After the user gets setup in Method, they can change their own password but not their e-mail settings.   Ronen
