Last update. I've inspected the Description only lines of the Invoice, one as added by QB then synch'd, the other added in the Full Blown Method Invoice screen using the table export function.  Both look identical in terms of data stored.  Neither have an Item, both have a QTY of 1, both print using the default report.

Another test, sorry so verbose. I can create a Description only line in Full Blown Method Invoice. I can print the Description only lines using Full Blown Method Invoice and the default report.
