I have read a few forums and watched a few videos but still having an issue importing LEADS from excel.
I am using Method CRM and do not want to import these as customers. I only need them to be LEADS as they are not actually customers yet...Can anyone assist in how I would go about this process?

Yup, it does. Actually it is the CRMQBO_LeadList because I don't have a CRM_LeadList.

Hi Lorin,
You need to make sure that the screen that the tab link Leads and Contacts List is attached to is CRM_LeadList. You can again find this out by going to Customize>Tabs, click on the Edit Tab Links... beside the Leads tab.

Thanks so much Ronen. While I was waiting for a response from the forum, I decided to delete all the screens that I made so that I could start at the begining again. When you made a copy of the edit lead screen, did you select the option to Replace links to an existing screen: or did you select to Add a Tab Link?

I am having a similar problem with a copied screen. I too tried deleting the screens I made and it did not fix the problem. I also watched the webinar about changing screens which also did not help me with my issue. Hopefully someone on this forum will answer. It seems like a very basic issue.

Now in Method if you enter a value into a drop down that does not exist in the drop down and click Save you will get a warning. This should address your issue.

I just wanted to give you an update that in you Method account, the original Method screen BillPayment has been updated to the correct date of Feb 6, 2012.
