• Re: Question about dropdown choice.

Hi viret56, These are the steps that I recommend that you take to add the dropdown field successfully to the Estimate screen: Go to Customise > Screens. Select the copy of the estimate screen. In the designer, click on Add Objects tab. Select the object Dropdown1 and drag that into the designer screen. Click on ...

i assume 2_Firstname is the same as FirstName_Step2 then how come the wizard creates it that way - can the wizard create the space between the names or I just have to know the code? in the sample of what your customers will see when they use your form the information is one column - ...

Ok. I checked into that, but the Create Invoice screen didn't have a start loop through grid action in it...and I'm not knowledgeable about that back end. Can you refresh me on how to make a Method default screen publish over the customized one currently live?

  • Re: Question about dropdown choice.

So the 'Dropdown' I am looking at is a field rather than an object. The table it is linked to is 'Customer'. The first column field was orginally blank, but after editing the dropdown I noticed it is now 'ParentFullName via Customer', which produces all blank entries in the first column ...

Hi Sunny- [quote user="Sunny"] The Customer-Name field in web to lead forms I assume is mandatory because of the way QBOE is set up - I suppose it can be hidden and not relevant to the customer - is this correct? Also the docs say to use : Example: '2_FirstName'+' '+'2_LastName' is an example of valid formula ...

  • Re: Date problem when submitting

Peet- I am going to look into this further and get back to you. One temporary fix is to create a temporary field for the date as a text field to just store a date as a text and once the lead is created update it manually. -Michael

  • Re: Error Log

Hi cpitts, The reason that you are getting this error message is because in the screen that gave you that error message, some of your actions may be missing the "End Loop Through Grid" action. The reason you are getting this error message right now is because the latest version of Method verifies that actions are setup correctly ...

Hi Peet, I need to first find out if this is an original screen or a customized screen. The best way to find this information is by hovering your mouse pointer over the tab link for the screen. The name will appear in a white rectangle box on the right hand side of the tab link. I also wanted to make sure that the Method Integration engine is ...

Hi viret56, I just wanted to explain to you the difference between the dropdown fields and the dropdown objects that you have the option of placing within your screen. When you select the “Dropdown” object in the designer, when you go to “Step 4 of 6”, you have the option of selecting a table and a specific ...
